The mission of ReCAMA is to promote sustainable agricultural mechanization in Asia and the Pacific through strengthening the capacity of national agricultural machinery associations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and information, and enhancing collaboration and closer business connection among national associations and their members.

The Council performs the following functions:

• Sharing the information on potential business and investment opportunities;
• Strengthening the capacity of the national associations to better support their members;
• Voicing the needs of the associations and their members, and intermediate the business-government relations;
• Connecting the national association and their members and foster regional cooperation, trade and investment.
